About
I'm Shane Cecil ⸺ Dayton, Ohio based designer & creator.
My Approach
With over 10 years of design experience, I’ve worked my whole career to solve complex problems with creative, human-centered solutions. These solutions have spanned various industries including agency, media, financial, manufacturing, e-commerce and many more. For each project, I stick to three principles in order to establish an approach that has the greatest influence toward an effective solution.
- Tell a story. When your brand story truly connects with your customers, magic happens.
- Design with purpose. Be purposeful in the design decisions that are made. The small details matter.
- Build something impactful. Be different. Think different. Create a legacy for your brand that will last.
Skills & Expertise
With a diverse set of skills and expertise, I have been able to accommodate multiple touch points for every solution as well as collaborate with other team members on how best to implement that solution. As a designer that is just as comfortable leading a team or contributing to the process, reaching the project goal has always the finish line.

Software
As problems evolve, so should the software knowledge needed to implement those solutions. I am proficient in various design, development and collaboration programs that expand each year. At an early age, an instructor instilled in me the desire to continually learn throughout life and learn by doing. To this day I strive to learn new things each day to better understand the problems that clients face.

Honors & Awards
Magic happens when a great client comes to you and that connection sparks an innovative and inspiring idea. To be recognized in the design community when those ideas happen is a great honor. Although honors and awards have never driven me to design, it is a good reminder of the possibilities when the stars align.
